Precipitated Calcium Carbonate for Sealants

HUANA CCS is a series of precipitated calcium carbonate powders with hydrophobic surface coating. CCS was developed for filling silicone sealants (including one-component and bi-component sealants), polyurethane sealants, and MS sealants. CCS calcium carbonate was synthesized with regular rhombohedral crystal morphology and appropriate size. The calcium carbonate crystals were treated with stearic acid and others. The products are of low oil absorption, and they could rapidly and fully dispersed in sealant resin. The sealants filled with CCS products would exhibit excellent rheology, tensile strength, breaking elongation, elastic recovery, modulus, cohesion strength, water tolerance, and weather resistance.

HUANA GCC is a series of ground calcium carbonate powders. Based on the high-quality natural calcite and advanced crushing and grinding technology, HUANA GCC exhibits superior whiteness, low impurity, narrow size distribution and low oil absorption. GCC is seen to be irregular in shape, but it is in fact available with rhombohedral or prismatic particles. For various applications, different surface treatment technologies are employed for HUANA GCC series. In rubber, plastics, and paint, HUANA GCC is largely filled to replace polymer resin and reduce cost. And reinforcement and toughness could be realized while finer HUANA GCC is employed.
